Dunt-did-dunt-duh!

 

60th birthdays mean... 2 week fiestas in Mexico... And a crown to adorn the queen!  For my JoMama’s 60th she and Ronny took us (our family) on an amazing vacation  to Akumal, Mexico... And she finally got that crown she had earned so long ago.

 

I made this crown by hand sawing copper, silver and brass.  I used cold joints to attach the pieces together, mainly rivets. I asked each of our family members for a word that described JoAnn (one word was not easy--and that is why I got to pick three--”amazing” “angel” ”heart”).  I hand stamped the words into the metal with letter dies then encrusted the whole thing in jewels.
